Progressive Relapsing MS

5% of people with MS


In this uncommon form of MS, people experience both progressive neurological decline and also attacks. PRMS is often misdiagnosed as PPMS until the relapses start.


Steady decline to disability, with the usual array of MS symptoms, over which is superimposed occasional noticeable attacks such as sudden weakness of an arm or leg, visual disturbance, or sensory symptoms.
