For such a young organization, OMS has an wonderfully high level of participation from our members, the OMS community. We ourselves strive to both support people with MS and bring them together, allowing them to support one another online and offline.
This is a great place for someone new to Overcoming MS to start. You’ll meet people at every stage of their OMS journey, from the newly diagnosed to OMS experts – and everyone in between. The Forum is a great place to find support and a warm welcome.
Interested in meeting other OMSers in real life? OMS Circles are local groups for people on the program to meet up and connect with one another.
Can’t find an OMS Circle in your area? If you are confident with the ins and outs of the OMS Program, you can request to become an OMS Ambassador and start a Circle in your own area.
We provide free copies of the Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis book for those who have recently been diagnosed with MS. This offer is always subject to funding, but we try to reach as many people as possible. Learn more about this offer here.
Many people who embark on the OMS Recovery Program want to ‘pay it forward’ by supporting others on their journey. This is just one way that OMS is a unique self-help group. Below, you’ll find links to other ways you can be part of this community.
We’re always happy to hear from you, so please feel free to contact us anytime at [email protected].
