In May 2016, Paul Skipworth began his 250km endurance race in Namibia. He faced a week’s worth of daily marathons in temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees, all the while carrying everything he needed on his back as he ran.
Namibia marked the third challenge Paul undertook in the RacingThePlanet series. In 2013 he covered the 250km across Iceland, and in 2014 he did the same distance in Madagascar. Each time, he raised money for Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis.
Paul’s wife Harriet was diagnosed with MS in 2013, and to acknowledge the support she received from OMS, Paul began dedicating his endurance events to fundraising for us in order to spread the message even further.
