There has been a certain amount of discussion on this forum about the value of a Paleo diet (which is recommended by some people for MS) in relation to the vegan plus fish diet that is put forward on the overcoming multiple sclerosis program. Interesting and from my own observation on my food intake I am easy getting 45g protien a day and we are pretty much entirely vegan here, sure I am getting plenty vitamin A and zinc from the root veg and nuts eaten.
I will need to calculate my % of protien from calories but I expect it to be fine. Though I don't eat 3000 a day. Using WHO figures we do eat enough each day.
Paleo diets in today's homes are an excuse to eat meat and avoid carbs Atkins had a lot to answer for but he died of a predictable death so we can't ask him.
