I've been on the OMS diet for almost two years and recently had some blood work done. Normal testosterone levels in males range from 300 ng/dl to 1050 ng/dl. I'm at only 170, which is odd for a 38-year-old male.
I did a little research online and discovered that testosterone is produced out of cholesterol. When looking for ways to increase my testosterone naturally, almost every resource recommends increasing my cholesterol intake through eating eggs, grass fed beef, coconut, and avocado.
Obviously, those are not OMS approved foods. I don't want to take testosterone replacement therapy since there can be side effects. But I can't see myself getting off the diet either.
Has anyone encountered the same problem? Any recommendations?
