I'm just not into cakes, biscuits, muffins or vegan/fat-free versions of these - prefer to just avoid them entirely. Sorbet's great in summer, but sometimes winter desserts are good too. These are hardly original, but I tried making both at the cookery course last night and really enjoyed the results. Reckon the apple could be improved by a tbsp of sultanas (and I baked in the oven and used Cox instead of Granny Smith - any tart apple would work).
