Just thinking about egg whites, I know that's probably not usual for a Tuesday evening, but I was.

Egg whites beaten / whisked to soft peaks, fold in some sugar and whisk to firm peaks.

Here's a banana faux ice cream recipe, using just banana's.

You can either make a cake base to stand the "ice cream" on, put the ice cream on top and cover with the meringues mixture or put the ice cream straight on the plate, and cover with the meringue mixture, but you stand to melt the faux ice cream, that way.

Bake in a preheated oven 350°F / 176°C until the top of the meringue is golden brown, and the peaks are a little browner.

Remove from the oven and serve.
