Here is the Thermomix recipe for vegetable stock concentrate. It can be adapted to a saucepan and vitamiser/food processor equipment.
Keeps in the fridge for 2-3 months.

200g celery, roughly cut
2 carrots, roughly cut
1 onion, peeled and halved
1 tomato, halved
1 zucchini, roughly cut
1 clove garlic
1 bay leaf
few leaves basil, sage and rosemary
1 bunch parsley
150g rock salt
1 tbsp oil

Chop all vegies for 10 seconds on speed 6 (chop them in your food processor)
Add salt and oil and cook at varoma temperature for 20 minutes on speed 1 (place all in saucepan and simmer on very low heat for 20 minutes, watch carefully, stir often, add small amounts of water as needed.)
Mix by slowly turning dial to speed 6 then pulverize for 1 minute. (Cool and return to food processor and blitz until a soft paste consistency, like tomato paste).

Store in a jar in the fridge or freeze into cubes.
Cheers,

Sue

Sounds great- definitely one to try! Thanks for sharing.
Would it taste the same steaming the veg instead of boiling? Thanks x
