I enjoy turmeric latte but the recipes I've found include coconut milk which sadly is not allowed :cry:
The anti-oxidants in turmeric are best absorbed when combined with fat and a little black pepper. So after a bit of play around here is my version of turmeric latte - comforting and rich :D

1 cup almond milk
1/2 teaspoon turmeric paste (see below)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (or fresh if you prefer and don't mind lumpy bits)
pinch ground black pepper
dash of maple syrup
dash of flaxseed oil

Turmeric paste - mix a heaped tablespoon of ground turmeric with enough boiling water to form a thick paste (a few dashes, not much). Keeps in the fridge for 10 days or so.

Heat the almond milk in a pan but don't let it boil. When steaming, whisk in the turmeric paste, cinnamon, black pepper, ginger until combined.Turn off the heat so you make sure it doesn't boil. Add maple syrup then whisk in the flaxseed oil so it's slightly frothy on top. Pour into a mug and enjoy
