Hi htucker!
Yes, baby is here and she is perfect! We are doing great, and I still feel normal, just tired from having a new baby at home and recovering from having a c-section. I was not able to breastfeed/pump after a week of trying, but I had discussed my shots (I'm on the same as you) with my OB, neuro, and the baby's pediatrician, and they all agreed I should keep taking it and nothing to worry about.
There was a Teva "study", a basic review of 2500 moms who were on Copaxone during part or all of pregnancy and it was found to be safe. https://multiplesclerosisnewstoday.com/ ... ing-fetus/
https://multiplesclerosisnewstoday.com/ ... -pregnancy

I had a follow up MRI 3 weeks after delivery and it is stable and shows fewer lesions than before. I have only been on C for a year now.

I'm sorry that you have this added worry and decision to make, lots of love to you and your growing family!
Kristi

Thank you so much for this post! I plan of staying on Copaxone for my second baby (I had no DMD's for my first, and yes pregnancy is a dream I felt I didn't have any disease at all), so this really helps my confidence that any upcoming baby will be just fine :)

You are welcome! I have failed Copaxone plus Minocycline now with a relapse at 8 months post partum. I hope to get started on Tysabri soon. I was told going back to Copaxone during my next pregnancy might be possible, if we have a second baby.
Good luck to you! I hope you stay healthy and have an easy time with baby #2!
