Here is a link to doodle, a web-based tool which helps you identify the best date to meet:

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=doodl ... &gws_rd=cr

you don't have to login (but you can create an account if that helps you) and you don't have to provide personal details to set up a poll or to participate...

I've used it before and sent the link to friends via email, but most recently I used it so that the half a dozen of us who hoped to meet in Winchester for an 'OMS' picnic could tick which dates we were available, then I could see which date was best for all of us.

All participants can see who's voted so far and their preferences. It's great and makes the whole 'can you do Saturdays? mornings or afternoons?' questions so much easier to deal with! I used three time slots per day so that we could see when we would be available, rather than the whole day which could mean some can't make it when actually they're free by 3pm.

Anyway - give it a go and see if it helps you too! Should be straightforward but send me a message and I'll try to help if you need it.

Nice tip. That'll make organising a Launde Abbey retreat reunion considerably easier!

Thank you Sue, great tool.
I will be great to get something going. After going in Brighton ( were you there) it seemed I great idea to get local groups going.

That's a great idea Sue, and then if you make sure the confirmed date/time get posted back into Location, you may even get some lovely extras to your event who don't check the forum very often.
