Mindfulness reduce IL-6

In this newly published study mindfulness meditation was found to lower IL-6 and therefore the general inflammation in the body. Note that this study is particular important and good designed as the researchers overcame the placebo bias by allocating the subjects into a relaxation group and a mindfulness meditation group and then looked for a specific biomarker of inflammation.

This gives great support to the OMS program and the findings on the positive impact of meditation for PWMS in the HOLISM study.
