In a recent post I wrote that I was using a Orbital trainer for exercise and I have been using the trainer for a long time, I was so excited to post that for the first time I had taken my hands off the handles to run without the aid of the handles for balance.
Well! two days after that post I noticed a burning feeling in the inside of my groin/inner thigh, I have strained my abductor muscles because I think I was so excited I overdid my exercises.
So now I am very frustrated because when the pain grabs I then get spasticity in that leg and it feels as though the muscle is straining itself all over again.
I feel like I don't want to rest because I will go backwards in regards to my fitness?
Do I just cut my losses, take the time to rest and concentrate on mindfulness?
Soooooo frustrating.

1st sign no diagnosis Oct 1999, DX 2007, SPMS 2011.
I would balance doing some exercise to help combat any stiffening but I would not exercise at the pace you had been doing until you have healed the strain then build up again.
Hope you are feeling better now as this post is a week or so ago.
