I am wondering if applying coconut oil to my skin or hair is okay. From what I have read it is easily absorbed through skin which leaves me a little nervous to apply it, but on the other hand I'm not sure if it's the saturated fats that are being absorbed putting me at risk. I follow the OMS diet strictly and would like some clarification on if this is okay! Thanks!

It can be absorbed through the skin, some people choose not to take the risk. See this previous topic
