Vaccination against people's own activated immune cells impr

I was reading the Professor's article on this exciting treatment
http://www.overcomingmultiplesclerosis. ... essive+MS/
I'm sure things have seemed just as exciting in the past and not gone on to anything useful, but at least here, there is a solid theoretical background and the study was done on actual humans with MS and not animals with Experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). But no one is shouting from the rooftops yet.
I was trying to understand it. Are they taking the body's activated Tcells which go after Mylen and then injecting them into the body so that there are antibodies against them? If so, I wonder:
1) Why would the body reject its own T-Cells? Are they somehow made foreign?
2) So does this mean the body is making antibodies against antibodies?
3) I still don't understand why Copaxone acts as a decoy rather than create antibodies against mylen.
Anyone?
