Quick question - do the online/do it yourself tests have an expiry date. Could I buy a pack of 10 and use them slowly over time, or should I buy individual tests as required?
I can't think that there is any reason why the test would expire (essentially it's just a needle and a piece of card), but at £30 a pop, you might have better things to spend £300 on in one go!
Buying 10 in one go would save you £50.

They have always been helpful when I've phoned them so maybe give them a call.

Never heard of Vit D through salt and a very quick google search didn't bring anything up apart from some suppliments that contain both although the Vit D was in a very low dose (100 IU).

Sun is the best way but not everyone has the time or regular sun such as the uk in winter.
