This is a great paper. In effect, it shows that if you go from a level of 50nmol/L to a level of 75nmol/L, you halve your odds of ever getting MS. If you go from 75 to 112.5, you halve the odds again, or in other words, have one quarter of the odds compared with having a level of 50. If you go from 112.5nmol/L to about 169nmol/L, the odds drop to one eighth of what they would be if the level was 50nmol/L. Not a bad reduction of risk for something so simple.
