Sunlight and Vitamin D

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering where people based in the UK purchase there vitamin D from, as health food shops don’t appear to stock 5000iu and I wanted to up my dose as I’m currently only taking 2000iu!

I use the oral spray DLUX3000. It's produced by BetterYou who sell direct from their website, I have also found it in Holland and Barrett shops and via Amazon.

Thanks for your replies everyone! Diggity is it ok for me to up my dose from 2000 to 10,000? I know the book says this is a safe dosage to take but my neurologist says only 2000/3000 is necessary so I’m kind of taking it upon myself to do this and I’m worried 10,000 might be too high?

Current medical thinking is slow to change. I'd get your levels tested and, if they're not high enough, increase your dosage.

Thank you for your responses everyone I really appreciate it! I will have a read of that thread and am definitely going to increase my vitamin D supplementation.
