I am interested in the once a week doses for Vitamin D, however, since coming off yogurt (though I do take probiotics) I am not exactly regular. I would like to try the once a week doses of D3. However, I wonder if irregularity would cause the D3 to be malabsorbed? I remember being told when first starting to take birth control pills that it may be ineffective on days when you have an upset stomach (I really am trying to bypass saying diarreah but there, I said it). Is it not wiser to spread out the dosage over the week to guarantee better absorption?

Now speaking of birth control--for pregnant women, does the D3 recommended dose change?
On the subject of irregularity, magnesium before bed helped me in that area where nothing else has worked
