I don't know if this topic is allowed, but I shall give it a try.
I have had no success so far finding a new doctor who is willing to prescribe LDN for me. Recently I have found a website where they are selling it and mailing it all over the world; website is called buy LDN.com and the pharmacy where it comes from is situated in Israel. They say it is called Israel Pharmacy LTD. Does anyone have an experience with buying LDN and could you let me know. I am very reluctant to try this as they do not require script and claim it is a genuine product. But how do I know for sure? Undecided.
Hi Katia

Have just seen your post and maybe I can help you. Melbourne doctor has previously scripted LDN for me.
PM me if you are interested- I am not sure where in Vic you are located.
Hi,

My knowledge of whether you need a prescription for LDN in Israel is zero, but I personally would be a bit wary that they don't require one.

If Judy's suggestion doesn't work try joining the Facebook group for the LDN Research trust and seeing if anyone can recommend one. I've had a look on their site, which lists LDN prescribing doctors and they don't have an Australian one http://www.ldnresearchtrust.org/node/147.

Good luck

Chris
I know the thread is old but I hope this helps. I order 50mg of Naltrexone tablets and convert a 50mg tablet into low dose naltrexone (LDN) simply and easily.
You can acquire some ml measuring equipment from the baby section of a Drug Store and a small bottle with a screw-on cap. Put 50ml of water (distilled is best) and one 50mg Naltrexone tablet in the small bottle and let it dissolve with a little time and shaking. Now each ml of water in that small bottle contains 1 mg of Naltrexone. At bedtime shake the bottle, take a desired dose (no more than 4.5ml), chase it down with some water and store the small bottle in the refrigerator. Some people have reported splitting the tablet in half and dissolving it in 25ml of water to assure freshness every week. You might add some stevia sweetener as naltrexone is quite bitter.

I followed the link and if we order soon it comes with free viagra!!
We've been looking into buying some LDN to try for my husband to help with mobility from PPMS

Our question is.... how will it affect alcohol consumption as we enjoy wine and Robin likes whiskey
I have been taking LDN for a couple of years now and it has never stopped me enjoying either wine or whisky! If you wanted to get your LDN from a UK source (the import duty can be an unpleasant shock)you could look up Dickson's Pharmacy in Glasgow. They can put you in touch with a doctor who wil conduct a telephone consultation with your husband and then issue a private prescription that Dickson's Pharmacy will fulfil.

I did this when I first started LDN. The consultation cost £35 and the LDN about £18 a month. One advantage was that the LDN supplied by Dickson's came as a liquid which made it a breeze to start with a small amount and build up the dose in increments. I highly recommend doing this.

I have since got my neurologist to agree to an NHS prescription for 3 mg tablets. These are likewise supplied by Dickson's. (For reasons that don't make a lot of sense to me, the cost of the liquid form to the NHS is about £500 a month so NHS prescriptions are generally for tablets).

Good luck!
