The Overcoming MS community is at the heart of everything we do and so, for us to be able to support you better, we need your help. We want to hear from you about the work of our charity: what’s working well, improvements we can make and what you would like us to focus more on doing.
The purpose of the 2023 Overcoming MS Community Survey is to better understand our community, so we can develop services that reflect your needs and expectations. The results will help build upon the first survey we conducted in the summer of 2021.

Changes that came from the 2021 survey
We used the results of the 2021 survey to design new services and make improvements to our existing programmes, information and support based on your feedback. Below we have listed a few examples of what improvements we have made from your feedback:
- You said you wanted to hear more from the experts on the latest research in lifestyle and MS: We included experts in our webinar series from the NEU and ECTRIMS discussing the latest research in lifestyle and MS.
- Recipes and diet were the most popular areas for content: We started adding new recipes to our website regularly and made sure they were family-friendly and budget saving.
- You wanted more in-person events: We launched Pop-Up events in various locations, giving you a chance to connect with others in your area. We also started attending fayres and conferences so we could reach more people. We are now looking at how we can reach more communities.
How to complete the survey
We estimate that the survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete, and you have the option to save and return to it if you can't complete the survey in one go. You can also complete the survey anonymously.
We want our survey to be accessible to all, so if you need any help completing the survey, please contact us at: email@example.com.
The survey will close on the 13th of August at 12.00am BST/ 7pm EDT and 14th of August at 9 am AEST. We will share a summary of the findings when we’ve reviewed the results.
