Donna from the USA felt very lost when she was first diagnosed with MS. She began following OMS in 2013.
“When I was diagnosed with MS I felt very lost. The doctors gave me some guidance about drugs but no guidance about disability and getting better. I did what they said and followed that course for some time but it felt like my future was uncertain and gloomy. I found George’s book and it really resonated with me.
“It made sense, fitted in with some other things I’d read but what was different about George’s book was it had an explanation why and the research behind it. It felt like it was something I could do.
“My experience on the OMS program has been very positive. I came to a retreat in July and it gave me ideas and things I needed to do when I went home to get better. It’s not been a hard process for me; I’ve found it very do-able. The OMS program has affected my quality of life and turned me around 100%. I feel better; I’m not as fatigued.
“I don’t worry about what I’m going to be like in 5-10 years, I know I’ll be well. It’s affected my outlook in that I really don’t think about it as much as I did. I just live my life and it doesn’t keep me from doing anything I want to do.”
