Quick, simple recipe to make the most out of ripe avocados. Eat with crackers or as part of a meal.

Ingredients List

Serves 8
  • 3 lime (juice from)
  • 1/2 red onion small
  • 3 avocado (ripe)
  • 1 chili pepper (or 2 depending on strength)
  • 1 tomatoes large, ripe
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander


  1. Deseed and dice tomato adding to bowl.
  2. Deseed chili and finely dice both chili and red onion, adding to the bowl with tomato and crushed garlic.
  3. Halve and stone the 3 avocados scooping out the flesh. Mash the flesh to the consistency you want. Add to other ingredients
  4. Add lime juice and diced cilantro then season.
  5. Cover with cling film

Limit your portion size as avocado contains saturated fats.
