Pasta with Tomato and Smoked Salmon

Simple dinner for two - pasta with a tangy sauce.

Ingredients List

Serves 2
  • 1.5 cups pasta (farfalle is nice)
  • 4 medium tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic (chopped)
  • 1 small clutch fresh herbs (chives, parsley, basil, chopped)
  • 1 shake sea salt (and freshly ground black pepper)
  • 200 g smoked salmon (sliced or chunked)


  1. Cook pasta.
  2. Chop tomatoes and cook in frying pan with garlic (no oil) until soupy.
  3. Add herbs and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Drain pasta, reserving 1 cup of cooking water.
  5. Toss pasta with tomato sauce adding enough of the reserved water to loosen pasta and sauce.
  6. Stir through smoked salmon. Serve and enjoy!
