“To believe there is only one way, which is the medical way, is hopeless. Not always but often. Another way is to find this program and realize there is hope and that we have a lot of influence on our health, and our mental health, and our stress and various things.
“And really to feel that life isn’t over, because that’s how I felt, when I knew and first found out. I dreaded it when I knew, but it doesn’t have to be like that. If you find the right people and this program, you have a choice now. And life isn’t over. It continues.”
