Alex obtained a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne, and also has a Graduate Diploma in Biostatistics. His research with the NEU assesses mediators of fatigue on emotional Quality of life, using the HOLISM study data. His research interests include investigating the impacts and causes of chronic neurological conditions, as well as allergy and lung health research.

Alex enjoys exploring the extensive art and café scenes of Melbourne, and is usually found with a flat white in hand.

Alex also volunteers with CHASE, a community health organisation that works to improve health literacy amongst disadvantaged students through education and mentoring.
