She has also been a facilitator at Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis Events.

Sandra is also a specialist emergency physician and has held senior roles at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, Coroners Court of Victoria and Victorian Mental Health Tribunal. In these roles, she translated clinical expertise into public health and built research activity in these jurisdictions.

Sandra joined the Neuroepidemiology Unit at its inception in 2015 and has headed the Unit since 2019. Her current research interests are conducting a large trial assessing the effectiveness of an online lifestyle modification course for people with MS and the role of diet quality in MS.

Sandra loves spending time with her family and dogs and loves to eat well, run, swim and cycle.
