Thames Path Challenge team raises close to £10,000 for OMS

October 17, 2018

Our first ever Thames Path Challenge was a big success, with 14 people joining Gary and Linda on the 8th September to take on 25 km or 50 km trekking distances along the river Thames. Each and every one of our trekkers did amazingly and seemed to finish with a smile on their faces – even our 50 km trekkers who racked up an astounding 67,000 steps from a solid day’s trekking!

This is a huge achievement and we would like to thank all of ‘Team OMS’ for their amazing efforts, their company on the day and most of all their generous support which has raised a fantastic £10,000 and counting for OMS! We’re already planning for next years’ challenge and would like to grow our team, so please do get in touch if you are interested in joining us in 2019!

CEO Gary McMahon says, “What a great day!  I found it a real challenge personally, as I had not really done much in the way of preparation, but on the day, surrounded by people with energy and motivation – and I’m referring to our OMS community of course! It is easy to be inspired and swept along!  Thank you to everyone that supported me – we will be back next year, with a much bigger crowd of walkers!!”

If you are interested in joining our team next year (7th/ 8th September 2019), please email [email protected].
