From isolation to empowerment: why our webinars matter for the MS community

As we wrap up another impactful year of Living Well with MS, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the difference these sessions have made.

In 2025, participants shared more than ever how the Living Well with MS series – including webinars, blogs, podcasts and live events – helped them make healthier choices, feel supported, and gain confidence in navigating life with MS.

Making expert support accessible

Webinars give people living with MS direct access to trusted experts and healthcare professionals – an opportunity that many people don’t have in routine care.

In 2025, more than 3,400 people from over 20 countries joined our webinars, gaining clear, evidence-based guidance they could apply in everyday life. Attendees heard from experts including award-winning neurologist Dr Aaron Boster, physiotherapist Jody Barber, and Brett Drummond from MS Translate, who shared the latest updates from ECTRIMS.

The impact was clear: 92% of attendees said they felt more confident about making healthy lifestyle changes after attending.

Because every session is recorded, the expert support doesn’t end when the live webinar finishes. Attendees, and anyone who wasn’t able to join live, can revisit the sessions and watch them back at their own pace. Access our previous webinars here!

Community and connection: learning from real people

Living with MS can feel isolating, and many people find real benefit in connecting with others who understand their experiences. Webinars create space for community members to share their journeys, insights and practical advice.

This year, we heard from:

  • Hayley Baker, who spoke about living with Primary Progressive MS, sharing how she learned to accept her diagnosis, advice for people who are newly diagnosed and strategies for talking to family members, friends and colleagues.
  • Lyndsey Housden, who discussed exercise and mental health, including how to stay active safely at home and how to recognise when you might be doing too much.
  • Ingrid Adelsberger, who shared her top tips on nutrition, maintaining a healthy diet and sustaining a consistent, positive mindset.

Don’t just take our word for it

Here’s what attendees have said:

“This webinar was perfect timing for me as I have an appointment with my neurologist, so I now feel prepared with questions to ask”

“I learned an immense amount today, I feel energised and motivated to change, as well as learning how to be kind to myself”

“These webinars are fantastic and really do help. I’m one year diagnosed and the speaker was so knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly”

Looking ahead: join us for season 7 in 2026

Our Living Well with MS webinars will return next year with season 7, exploring a new line-up of topics that really matter to people living with MS – including psychological aspects, medication, employment, sleep, symptoms and much more.

We believe that everyone should have access to reliable information, expert guidance and a supportive community, so we are committed to keeping our webinars, podcasts and blogs free and accessible for everyone. But as a charity, we rely on the generosity of our community to make this possible.

Each webinar costs around £1,800, covering speaker payments, planning, hosting, recording and promoting. If you are able, please consider donating to help us continue delivering these vital sessions, ensuring that people with MS everywhere can access the knowledge, confidence and support they need.
