Apple and Blackberry Crumble

This is a great dessert for a cold winter evening. Serve with dairy free cream or ice cream! Thanks to Rowan for kindly sending in this recipe.

Ingredients List

Serves 1
  • 4 apples peeled, cored and diced
  • blackberries handful
  • 50 g oats
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp mixed spice

Instructions

  1. Simmer the apples with the mixed spice in a little water until soft, add the blackberries
  2. Mix together the oats, honey and cinnamon. Bake at 150•c until a lightbrown (about 10 minutes), mixing halfway through
  3. Serve the fruit and oats together with dairy free custard or soya cream
