Sue Tibbles

Facilitator

After being diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting MS in 2012, Sue was fortunate to discover the Overcoming MS Program.

After quickly embracing the holistic approach of diet and physical activity, Sue concentrated on the stress management and mindfulness pillar of the Overcoming MS Program which led her to becoming a mindfulness teacher having completed her MSc in Mindfulness from the University of Aberdeen.

Sue is grateful to have discovered the Overcoming MS Program and feels healthier as a result. Now as a Newly Qualified Facilitator, having successfully completed the Train the Trainer programme, she is in a position to share her experience and knowledge with others, alongside her role as an MS specialist Nurse.

Outside of her professional life, Sue enjoys hiking, camping, meditation and wild swimming. Her top tip for people interested in or already following the Overcoming MS Program is to practice mindfulness because stress management is so important for people living with MS.
