Stress Reduction: Physical activity sessions with Dr Véronique Gauthier-Simmons

Auto Relaxer

Thursday 11th April, 6pm BST / 1pm ET

Persistent, prolonged stress keeps the immune system in a heightened state of alertness, significantly boosts inflammation, and damages our body. But the good news is that Physical Activity, Yoga and Breathwork reduce the body´s stress hormones and stimulate the production of the body´s natural painkillers and mood elevators.

In April, join Veronique for three sessions on the mat or on the chair to explore ways to significantly reduce stress perception and reactivity.

For the first session, Veronique will focus on techniques that can be used whenever you feel anxiety and/or panic rise. She will share some Breathwork and yoga tools to calm down and relax.

This session can be done on the mat or on a chair.

Meditation and Yoga with Patricia Hawley

Wednesday 17th of April at 5pm UK time / 12pm ET

Join Patricia Hawley in April 2024 for yoga and meditation sessions. This month’s theme is ’embracing change’.

Meditation (April 17): One of the best ways to navigate change is to sit with it. We’ll gather for a 15-minute seated mindful meditation practice followed by a 5-minute moving (walking) meditation. But first, we’ll spend some time calming our nervous system with gentle stretching, breath work, and a “calm abiding” mudra prior to meditation.
