Banana Oat Breakfast Smoothie

A simple, easy and delicious breakfast smoothie, and a great way to get your flaxseed oil in for the day! Shared by Zoe.

Ingredients List

Serves 1
  • 1 banana
  • handful of frozen berries , or other fruit
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed oil
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp flaked almonds
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 cup oat milk , or other dairy free milk
  • water and ice cubes, as needed


  1. Add all ingredients to your blender and blitz until smooth.
  2. If it’s too thick, add some cold water and blend again, keep adding small amounts of water until you get your favourite consistency.
  3. Pour into a glass and if you want to, top with ice!
  4. Enjoy starting your day with an energy boost and a glass full of tasty goodness!
