Chilli Soy Tofu

Healthy steamed tofu with a chilli soy sauce.

Ingredients List

Serves 2
  • 500 g silken tofu
  • 1 small red chilli
  • 2 medium spring onions
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp coriander (fresh)

Instructions

  1. Fill the base of a steamer with water and boil.
  2. Steam tofu for 5 – 7 mins.
  3. Drain the excess water.
  4. Transfer to serving plate and cover with finely sliced chilli and spring onions.
  5. Heat the soy sauce and pour the mixture over the tofu, drizzle with sesame oil and scatter with chilli, spring onion and coriander.

For a vegan alternative replace oyster sauce with blackbean sauce.
