Crunchy Oat & Almond Biscuits

Ingredients List

 

Serves 8
  • 1 cup brown rice flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup almond paste
  • 1 medium banana mashed
  • 1.5 tbsp maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1.5-2 tsp honey

Instructions

  1. Line your baking tray with grease proof paper and preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix in all the wet ingredients.
  3. Sieve all the dry ingredients together into a separate bowl, then stir in the oats.
  4. Blend in the wet ingredients slowly until you’ve got a sticky mass.
  5. Take out spoonfuls and flatten them onto the paper.
  6. Bake for 20 mins on 180-200° C. They’re done as soon as they’re golden around the edge.
