Curried Almond Dip

Adjust the seasonings to taste and get dipping. Flavours develop overnight if you can wait a little longer. Recipe kindly provided by Kaye.

Ingredients List

 

Serves 2
  • 250 ml water
  • 100 grams ground almonds grind whole almonds in a coffee grinder
  • 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons tamari
  • ¼ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock powder check ingredients list

 

Instructions

  1. Mix everything together.
  2. Adjust the seasonings to taste and get dipping!
 

Notes

  • Flavours will develop further overnight if you can wait a little longer.
  • This is nice with carrot and celery sticks, or use it as a garnish for your vegetables.
  • Should freeze OK, but might separate a little on thawing – just give it a stir.
  • You can substitute tahari for soy sauce if you eat gluten.
