Easy to make Overcoming MS sweet festive treats with just 3 ingredients. A perfect present.
Preheat the oven to 120 C/100C fan or 248 F.
Line baking sheets with baking parchment.
Beat the egg whites with an electric whisk until they are foamy and doubled in size.
Add the sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, while you continue to whisk. The meringue will become thick and glossy and should hold up in stiff peaks when it is ready.
Fit a disposable piping bag with a 1cm round or star nozzle.
Drizzle the gel food colouring alongside each side of the bag before filling with the meringue mixture. this will give you the marbled look.
Hold it vertically to the baking sheet and gently squeeze, pulling the bag up and away to make a peak.
Bake in the oven for 1 hour
Remove from oven.
Make sure you use gel food colouring.
