Multi Grain Bread

An MS-friendly recipe for Multi Grain Bread. This is a lovely dense bread made in a breadmaker, delicious toasted with flaxseed oil and marmite.

Ingredients List

Serves 8
  • 0.5 cup kibbled wheat
  • 0.25 cup linseed (or flaxseeds)
  • 0.5 cup bran flakes
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tsps surebake yeast
  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1.5 cups high grade flour
  • 0.5 tsp sugar
  • 1.5 tsps salt
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.25 cup sesame seeds
  • 0.25 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 0.25 cup sunflower seeds

Instructions

  1. Soak kibbled wheat, linseed, bran flakes in boiling water for 15 minutes.
  2. Place ingredients in breadmaker in order specified for your breadmaker, adding soaked grains last.
  3. Bake on multigrain setting.
