A lovely chocolate cake recipe from fellow OMSer Wendy.

Ingredients List for people
  1. Sieve plain flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda, add sugar and mix.
  2. Then add wet ingredients and mix well.
  3. Grease a 20cm round tin with a little olive oil (extra virgin)
  4. Bake at 170° C for about 55 minutes.
  5. Keep testing as sometimes it takes a bit longer.
  6. It rises quite spectacularly in the tin.

Hi, I live in United Kingdom - what would be our best substitute for white vinegar? Or is there a vinegar here which would be appropriate? Thanks!


HI Shelley, white vinegar is sometimes known as distilled vinegar in the UK and is widely available in supermarkets
