Ingredients List



  1. Break the garlic into cloves and peel off skin.
  2. Leave cloves whole.
  3. In a non-stick pan add the onion and cook until medium brown.
  4. Add the garlic and carrots and cook for another minute.
  5. Add beans, tomatoes, bay leaves, and water.
  6. Cover and simmer for an hour.
  7. Add water if too thick.
  8. Stir in salt and pepper.
  9. Add parsley and lemon juice and serve over brown rice.

Add salt and black pepper to taste.
