Much-loved Chocolate Muffins

Sweets & Desserts

These delicious OMS-friendly chocolate muffins were a huge hit at a recent OMS Circle meeting in LA that we just had to share the recipe.

Shame this recipe using liquid measurements for dry ingredients. Am guessing what the floz means for these, fingers crossed!

Hi Rich - the measurements call for 3/4 cup flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder. This is quite common in US recipes, to measure by volume. The equivalent in grams is 96g flour, 100g brown sugar, 25g cocoa powder, hope this helps!

This is my favourite go to recipe! I couldn't find it on the OMS site recipe list anymore so I had to google it - why would that be? Thank you.

Hi, the ingredient list for 4 people which is what the website defaults to, can I ask how many muffins does this recipe make? The amount of mixture I put in each muffin case will depend on how long it takes to cook?

Dear Lucy-OMS,
This recipe seems very nice to me, but...
I cook very often for my daughter so it is important for me to know I do it right. I had understood that it was wrong to use oil in something you cook or bake because oil gets too hot. Am I wrong?
