Ingredients List



  1. Fill a large pan with all the ingredients, except the pears. 
  2. Half fill the pan with water and bring to boil. Let the water simmer for 10 mins to infuse
  3. In the meantime, peel the pears and then gently drop them into the water.
  4. Poach for about 30 mins, until soft. 
  5. To make the berry compote, place the berries in a small saucepan over a low heat with the brown sugar and bring to a simmer.
  6. Cook for about 20 minutes, until soft.
