Overcoming MS, the world’s leading multiple sclerosis healthy lifestyle charity, announces the appointment of three new trustees to further enhance our ability to make a meaningful difference for those with MS.
The newly appointed trustees are:
Dr Andrew Thomson Marnie Middlemiss Pauline Hanson
Dowshan Humzah, Chair of Overcoming MS, said: “I am excited to welcome Pauline, Marnie and Andrew to Overcoming MS. The charity’s core purpose is to enable everyone with MS to achieve optimal wellness by being able to take control of their health and wellbeing through making informed lifestyle choices alongside their clinical treatments. The new trustees bring a rich variety of perspectives, experiences and thinking styles that will challenge and support us in more effectively delivering our goals for the MS community.”
“I would also like to extend our gratitude, thanks and congratulations to Caroline Clarke who is stepping down as a trustee for Overcoming MS after 6 years and moves from her Group CEO role at the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust to be the Regional Director for London, NHS England – a hugely significant role serving the nation as, our jewel in the crown, the NHS celebrates its 75th anniversary. Caroline has contributed greatly to the development of the charity and she will be hugely missed.”
“Overcoming MS has made an extraordinary difference to thousands of people worldwide since its founding ten years ago and continues to do so as we look to further improve our services to the MS community, to expand our partnerships with other related support organisations, and to better inform and influence the wider MS landscape.”
