Chocolate Orange and Avocado Mousse

This decadent dessert is smooth, indulgent and will satisfy those chocolate cravings! This recipe is from our 2024 Ammerdown Retreat.

Ingredients list

 

Serves 5
  • 5 avocados
  • 1 splash of almond or oat milk
  • 5 tablespoons of cacao powder
  • 2 teaspoons of orange extract or to taste
  • 150 ml maple syrup
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Blend the avocado in a food processor until completely smooth. If needed, add a splash of oat or almond milk to loosen.
  2. Whilst continuously blending, add the rest of the ingredients until you have a silky, smooth, thick mixture.
  3. Finally pipe into a ramekin of your choice and refrigerate overnight before serving.
