Mango Chutney

This mango chutney is excellent paired with flatbread and Indian dishes, or try it out with a salmon or vegetable burger.

Serves 2
  • 50 ml mango paste
  • 0.75 cup mango (fresh, diced)
  • 1 tbsp ginger (fresh, minced)
  • 1 tsp chili pepper red (fresh, seeded and minced)
  • 2 tbsps red onion (or shallot, diced, small)
  • 2 tbsps coriander (fresh, coarsely chopped)
  • 1 medium lime (juiced)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mango Paste and place in small bowl or buy ready made paste or pulp.
  2. To prepare the chutney: add mango, ginger, chilies, onion, coriander and lime juice in a bowl and combine well.
  3. Store in a sealed container.

  • This chutney is excellent paired with flatbread and Indian dishes
  • Why not try it out with a salmon or vegetable burger.
  • Mango Chutney will keep for one week in the refrigerator.
